The aim of this book is to help trainee interpreters in particular to develop their skills in community, business and official interpreting. It provides a broad range of practice options and may be used as a workbook, class textbook, or self-study aid for students preparing for professional accreditation tests. There are 10 units each devoted to one area of interpreting. Each unit provides basic information on an area of interpreting, then outlining major issues that interpreters often encounter in this area. This is followed by some suggested points of focus and preparation.
