This is the original one and only two day specialisation course in Australia, specifically developed to provide participants with an overview of how the Australian Commonwealth and State health systems and their agencies, operate and interact, emphasizing the areas in which interpreters are most often engaged. 

Publications and reference materials about interpreting and translation are used and recommended.

One such book is our very own publication titled

"A training Handbook for Health and Medical Interpreters"

by Mary Vasilakakos, Edited by Silvana Pavlovska. 

This two day short course consists of 8 hours of face-to-face learning activities and 6 hours of online/homework.

Completion Certificate:

Participants receive a Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion.
